librf blog is born

Okay, this will be quite brief since we're working on a deadline. The goal of this blog is to keep track of developments of librf, a C++ random forests library.

So-- more to come after the deadline hopefully!

Hi! Good work! I'm doing my master thesis in software engineering right now and this will include the random forest algorithm. I've downloaded your source code and have some questions. Maybe if you have the time you could help me with some questions I have regarding the code? Feel free to send me an e-mail if you have the time.
Best Regards Daniel

Ben, really appreciate this C++ port of the RF code. I've been using it on OSX for a while, just moved that project over to Ubuntu. We ran into some of the compiler issues mentioned on the wiki.. fixed those by hoisting the system headers.

Next steps include porting to Node.js and possibly doing a DEB package to make deployment simpler. If we contrib back updates, do you prefer to have these moved into the (old) Google Code site, or is there any newer update?

Thanks,
Paco
